Aerich Oliver (Capt. Charlie's replacement someday)

What to Expect and What to Bring:

State law requires that you have a valid fishing license with a saltwater stamp.  You must have this license before boarding the boat - available at Wal-Mart, HEB and local tackle shops.

Click the TPWD logo to learn more.

Capt. Charlie dips another redfish, of course that's one of his specialties!

Fishing licenses are available at HEB, Stripes Convenience Stores, Wal-Mart and

Rockport Tackle Town.

● This 24' Carolina Skiff seats 5 people comfortably and gives everyone a smooth, dry ride over the bay water.  Sunny spring and summer days are great on the water, but occasionally Texas weather along the Gulf Coast can be a little unpredictable.  In the fall and winter months, a light jacket or coat may be in order for your particular day on the water so dress accordingly.

● Rods and Reels are furnished or you can bring your own.

Jacob Wafer, Phyllis Adams and BJ Newton had a fantastic

day catching 10 black "puppy" drum and 9 nice redfish

with Capt. Charlie.

● You'll be fishing with live and/or dead bait.  Capt. Charlie is eager to help you succeed and will always bait the hook and cast for you if that is your preference.  He knows exactly where to cast the bait too to help you catch that trophy redfish!

● Live bait is either purchased or caught prior to your trip time.

● Please bring your own ice chest 48qt. or smaller with your favorite soft drinks/snacks. PLEASE NO ALCOHOL or BEER.

● Sunscreen, sunglasses and hat.  Captain Charlie highly recommends SmartShield for the absolute best in sun protection.

● Camera and other electronic items stored in dry compartment. may be stored safe and dry.

● Your fresh catch will be cleaned & bagged, ready for the trip home!

Garrett Herms from Boerne, TX caught this nice red while

fishing with Capt. Charles Newton
